Tamsin Morgan
Trade and Security Unit Lead
Tamsin leads the day-to-day operations of the Trade and Security Unit. She is a trade and economic security policy specialist with a decade of experience in government and consultancy. Tamsin has particular expertise in economic statecraft, including sanctions, export controls and supply chain partnerships.
While in the Department for International Trade, Tamsin led efforts on UK-China economic dependence to strengthen the UK's access to critical supply chains, shaping the department's contribution on economic resilience to the Integrated Review and subsequent National Resilience Strategy. She then played an integral part in the development of the UK's trade sanctions against Russia, coordinating a global response for maximum impact and helping to establish the Office of Trade Sanctions Implementation.
Tamsin studied International Relations at the University of Birmingham and obtained a postgraduate degree in policymaking from King’s College London.
