About the Levelling Up Fund

The Levelling Up Fund is one of the most politically important schemes being operated by HM Government. The scheme is operating across multiple rounds with areas able to bid for £50m (for larger transport schemes) or £20 million for other bid types. Submissions can constitute one large project or three smaller projects and must fit within at least one of three themes:

  1. Transport

  2. Regeneration and town centre investment

  3. Cultural investment
