Sir John Armitt on the Today Programme

Sir John Armitt (the UK’s foremost infrastructure expert and Chair of our Public Private Partnership Commission) appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme this week to talk about why it is so hard to build infrastructure in the UK, especially water infrastructure.

He also made the case for an ‘OBR for infrastructure’ (also made in the FT) to build cross-party consensus and give more stability to our infrastructure delivery pipeline for the benefit of society, investors and industry.
